A fitness plan will be put together for all surfers or wannabe surfers to progressively build strength and stamina in the water. This will include working on swimming stamina and technique for better paddling out into the waves plus to build the lungs that you need to prolong your time in the water. Also you will be trained in core stability for good balance on the board along with SAQ (speed, agility, quickness) to get you up on that board in a split second
Surfing lessons will then be arranged with beach training drills for warm ups before you try the waves
Experienced surfers may also contact Shapewell for a fitness package to further develop their sport
